Chubby's Cafe-Pleasant Grove, UT

I recently heard about Chubby's Cafe through my father while we were working on one of his projects and became very intrigued but what he said about. He told me that it was the best burger he has had in a long time and that it was the best environment to have a burger as well, so of course I had to see for myself.

Upon arrival at Chubby's it soon was clear that this was a classic mom and pop style place, one of those everyone knows everyone good feeling food joints!

Since my first trip to Chubby's I have been back 7 times and have tried just about every burger on the menu and can honestly say that I do not have a favorite and love them all. I can seriously close my eyes and choose and feel 100% comfortable with the choice I have made.

If burgers are not for you then don't worry because Chubby's Cafe is not jut a burger joint there are an all round neighborhood eatery!! Check out there Site and Menu below!

Foundry Grill-Sundance, UT

I had the pleasure of dining at the fantastic Foundry Grill in beautiful Sundance Utah this past week and I must say that it was hands down the best dining experience I have ever had in the entire state. Foundry Grill is one of Utah's greatest hidden treasures nestled high up in the Wasatch mountains at the base of Sundance's main ski run. Most of the of the design and architecture is something right out of a classic mountain man film that gives you the feeling of something rugged and tough, even the dining room at Foundry Grill makes you feel as if you are "Grizzly Adams" and ready to go out for the days hunt. Take a seat and pick up the menu and your are instantly taken from "Jeremiah Johnson's" backyard to and fine dining of high traffic indulged city. From braised pork chops to grilled Ono you will find whatever you heart desires. In my last journey to this beauty in the beast  I ordered both the soup of the day and the special of the day which was Tomato Basil Soup and grilled Ono on a bed of purple potatoes drizzled with a mango sauce which was fantastic! Sitting next to an open fire eating one of the best cuts of fish it came full circle and hit me, people don't come to Utah to ski they come to Utah to eat here!! If you are ever within an 100 mile radius of Sundance, Utah please do yourself a favor and drive to Foundry Grill and eat anything on the menu you will not be dissatisfied.

Apple Spice Junction

Apple Spice Junction
Orem, UT

I have had the pleasure of visiting Apple Spice Junction everyday for a week since it is within walking distance of  my office and I can only say that I wish I could eat every meal there. I have had just about every sandwich on there menu and if you are a fan or tuna sandwiches then you must try there take on this classic. Its is simply referred to as Charlies Dream and is made of the best fancy white albacore (dolphin-friendly of course) with Swiss cheese served on fresh baked sourdough bread served with a pickle and a cookie and you choice of salad for only $6.99. There is one big problem with Apple Spice Junction that I can just not get over and that is that they close at 4!. If you are in the north Orem area then please please please stop by and have the best sandwich and service you will ever have.

Maxwells-Park City Utah

I recently visited Maxwells for a siblings birthday celebration and was greeted at the door by a wonderful young lady that was very courteous and put us on the wait list and let us know that it would be about 20 minutes before our party would be seated. While we waited to be seated we sat at the bar and watched a few of the many sports that were on the flat screens. Within just a few moments we were greeted by a bar tender that took our order and was very knowledgeable on the different drinks that they serve. A few moments later our wonderful waitress let us know that our table was ready so we paid for our drinks and moved through the crowded establishment to our table at the back of the room. Once we were seated we were able to give our food orders directly which was great since we all had taken a look at the menu while we were waiting. The salads came out about 5 minutes later and were served as ordered and were fantastic. If you are a fan or Cesar salads you will enjoy the one you will get at Maxwells, the dressing is a classic take on Cesar dressing with a slight tangy addition that is a great addition if I may add. I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak with provolone and vegies which Maxwells claims to be a great treat. When we received the meal it looked quite delicious but could not deliver on taste. The steak was tiny pieces of meat that was overly peppered and quite bland in flavor but at least the fries were good. If you are going to be visiting Maxwells i suggest you order a pizza or drinks at the bar for these  items the Maxwells serves quite well.
